At 4:49pm on July 12th, 2015, Josh and Lindsay Sanders climbed to the summit of Baxter Peak in Maine to set a new U.S. Highpointing world record in 19 days, 7 hours, 37 minutes!
On July 12th, 2015 the climbing team of Josh and Lindsay Sanders shattered the U.S. high pointing world record in a time of 19 days, 7 hours and 37 minutes! The siblings started on June 23rd by climbing Mt. Rainier in Washington and Mt. Hood in Oregon in the same day and never looked back. They climbed over 280 miles and drove another 14,000 to stand on the highest natural point of all 48 contiguous states.
